Hahaha I love it. I have the opposite feeling about the word remarkable. At least unbelievable has the equivalent phrase- I can’t believe it. Where did the word remarkable come about? A lot people saying “this warrants a remark?” Or “Id remark about this”

What gets me is that unremarkable is always a remark! Something would have to be precisely whelming to not warrant remark.
